Mainframe Assembler Developer

As a Mainframe Assembler + Java Developer at our Bangalore location with 7+ years of experience, your role will involve showcasing strong knowledge in Mainframe technologies, especially CICS and WebSphere MQ. You should have proven experience as a developer/system programmer, focusing on high performance and low latency applications in C/C++. Proficiency in multi-threading, concurrency, and asynchronous programming is crucial. Additionally, you must possess a solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design principles. Key Responsibilities: - Hands-on experience in Assembler - Demonstrating proficiency in Mainframe technologies, especially CICS and WebSphere MQ - Developing high performance and low latency applications in C/C++ - Utilizing multi-threading, concurrency, and asynchronous programming effectively - Understanding data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design principles - Knowledge of network protocols and distributed systems - Collaboration and delivery in a globally distributed team - Creating designs based on requirements, reviewing with stakeholders, and owning delivery end-to-end - Experience in Agile, Continuous delivery, and Test-driven development methodologies Qualifications Required: - Experience with JCL and datasets - Knowledge of API exits (CICS and MQ) - Programming experience with Assembler - Ability to isolate problem areas, troubleshoot systematically, and be a team player - Adaptability to tools, technologies, processes, and people within a high-performance team If you meet the above requirements and are eager to excel in this role, we encourage you to send your resumes to mounika-d@hcl.software.,
