Machine Operator

You will be responsible for operating and maintaining STP (Sewage Treatment Plant) Cleaning Robots. Your role will involve efficiently controlling the robots during sewage cleaning operations, monitoring their performance, and ensuring smooth functioning by following standard operating procedures (SOPs). Additionally, you will be required to conduct basic maintenance, inspection, and cleaning of the robotic equipment, troubleshoot minor electrical and mechanical issues, and report any major malfunctions to the technical support team. Your commitment to safety and compliance is essential as you will need to adhere to all safety protocols while working in sewage treatment plants, use personal protective equipment (PPE) correctly, and comply with environmental and workplace safety regulations. Documentation and reporting are also vital aspects of the job, as you will be responsible for maintaining logs of daily operations, maintenance activities, and robot performance, as well as providing reports on operational challenges and efficiency improvements. The ideal candidate for this role should have a basic understanding of robotics, automation, or mechatronics, with familiarity in PLC, sensors, or control systems being advantageous. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in challenging and confined environments are also necessary. A Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field, or an ITI (Electrician/Electronics Mechanic) qualification is required. This position may involve traveling to different STP sites as needed.
