About the Role

We are looking for a Machine Learning Engineer / AI Specialist with strong experience in training and fine-tuning Large Language Models (LLMs) on domain-specific or proprietary datasets. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in customizing foundation models, optimizing performance for specific business use cases, and ensuring scalable deployment.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement pipelines for fine-tuning and adapting LLMs using custom datasets.
• Preprocess, clean, and structure unstructured and structured data for training.
• Experiment with different model architectures, fine-tuning strategies, and parameter-efficient methods (LoRA, adapters, quantization, etc.).
• Evaluate model outputs using quantitative and qualitative metrics, ensuring accuracy, robustness, and safety.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to integrate trained models into applications.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in LLM research, open-source tools, and frameworks.

Requirements

• Strong background in Machine Learning / NLP, with practical experience in LLM fine-tuning.
• Hands-on expertise with frameworks such as PyTorch, Hugging Face Transformers, LangChain, or similar.
• Experience working with vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Weaviate, FAISS) and RAG pipelines.
• Proficiency in Python and common ML libraries.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) for scalable training and deployment.
• Solid understanding of evaluation metrics, prompt engineering, and safety considerations in LLM applications.

Nice to Have

• Experience with multi-modal models (text + images, speech, etc.).
• Knowledge of MLOps and productionizing ML systems.
• Prior work with enterprise-grade AI deployments.

Pay: ₹689,169.38 - ₹1,615,416.99 per year
