Key Responsibilities

Shipment Coordination

• Plan, schedule, and monitor domestic and international shipments (air, sea, and land).
• Coordinate with shipping lines, airlines, transporters, and freight forwarders to ensure timely cargo movement.
• Track and update shipment status, resolving delays or disruptions proactively.

Documentation & Compliance

• Prepare and verify shipping documents such as

  Bill of Lading, Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Certificates of Origin, and Customs Declarations

  .
• Ensure compliance with customs regulations, trade laws, and company policies.
• Handle import/export clearance processes with customs authorities and regulatory bodies.

Client & Vendor Communication

• Serve as the main point of contact for clients regarding shipment status, queries, and issues.
• Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and logistics partners to optimize costs and efficiency.
• Provide timely updates and reports to clients and internal stakeholders.

Process & Reporting

• Maintain accurate records of shipments, freight rates, and documentation.
• Monitor logistics KPIs and suggest process improvements.
• Support the finance team with freight billing, vendor invoices, and payment follow-ups.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in

  Logistics, Supply Chain, International Business, or related field

  .
• Minimum

  3 years of experience

  in freight forwarding, logistics, or shipping industry.
• Strong knowledge of

  import/export documentation, customs clearance, and freight operations

  .
• Proficiency in MS Office and logistics software/ERP systems.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple shipments simultaneously.
