As a Linux Kernel Developer at our company, your role will involve developing Linux system software and kernel mode drivers. Here is what we are looking for: **Role Overview:** You should have at least 5 years of experience in developing Linux system software and kernel mode drivers. Proficiency in C/C++ programming for operating system kernel & systems development is essential. Your ability to produce high-quality code should be complemented by strong communication and problem-solving skills. A solid understanding of operating systems, particularly Linux or any other UNIX-like operating system, is required. Experience with concurrent programming, threading APIs, and OS development on Linux will be beneficial. **Key Responsibilities:** - Proficiency in Linux kernel development, with a strong understanding of Linux modules such as Scheduler, Memory management, IPC, DMA, IOMMU, Interrupt/event handler, etc. - Familiarity with embedded systems and hardware-software integration, and a collaborative approach in a fast-paced environment. - Hands-on issue debugging skills, with the ability to isolate issues at the Linux kernel and driver module level. - Knowledge of software development tools, including debuggers and version control systems like Git and GitHub. - Hands-on experience in PCIe subsystem/PCIe Drivers, IOMMU, System-level debugging, Linux Kernel Programming, Scheduler, Memory management, Interrupt architecture. - Strong knowledge of H264/HEVC/VP9 codec understanding, Video driver, Vaapi, vdpau, gstreamer, v4l2 frameworks for Multi Media. - Expertise in Linux Kernel/OS Power management, including Static/Dynamic power management, Reboot, System to RAM, S0ix3 for Power management. **Qualifications Required:** - Minimum 5 years of experience in developing Linux system software and kernel mode drivers. - Proficiency in C/C++ programming for operating system kernel & systems development. - Solid understanding of operating systems, with emphasis on Linux or any other UNIX-like operating system. - Experience with concurrent programming, threading APIs, and OS development on Linux. - Knowledge of software development tools, including debuggers and version control systems (e.g., Git, GitHub). - Hands-on experience in PCIe subsystem/PCIe Drivers, IOMMU, System level debugging, Linux Kernel Programming, Scheduler, Memory management, Interrupt architecture. - Strong knowledge of H264/HEVC/VP9 codec understanding, Video driver, Vaapi, vdpau, gstreamer, v4l2 frameworks for Multi Media. - Strong knowledge of Linux Kernel/OS Power management, Static/Dynamic power management, Reboot, System to RAM, S0ix3 for Power management.
