Job Description

As an Embedded Linux Engineer with 35 years of experience in Linux kernel and driver development, your role will involve developing and porting embedded software on Linux and ARM-based platforms. You will design and implement Linux kernel modules and device drivers, work on OS-level features such as memory management, scheduling, IPC, and multithreading, and debug embedded systems using tools like JTAG and Lauterbach. Collaboration with hardware teams for board bring-up and system-level debugging, as well as analyzing and optimizing system performance and reliability, will also be part of your responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and port embedded software on Linux and ARM-based platforms. - Design and implement Linux kernel modules and device drivers. - Work on OS-level features including memory management, scheduling, IPC, and multithreading. - Debug embedded systems using tools like JTAG and Lauterbach. - Collaborate with hardware teams for board bring-up and system-level debugging. - Analyze and optimize system performance and reliability. In addition to your primary responsibilities, you will be expected to have the following skills: Primary Skills: - Embedded Linux kernel and driver development. - Strong C programming and data structures. - OS internals: memory management, scheduling, IPC, multithreading. - Experience with ARM architecture and embedded platforms. - Proficiency in debugging tools (JTAG, Lauterbach). Secondary Skills: - Exposure to scripting (Python, Bash). - Familiarity with version control systems (Git). - Basic understanding of build systems (Yocto, Buildroot). - Knowledge of hardware interfaces (I2C, SPI, UART). Qualifications: - Bachelors or Masters degree in Electronics, Computer Engineering, or related field. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Good communication and teamwork abilities.,
