Linux Administrator

As a Linux Administrator at the client's location in Raipur, your primary responsibilities will include: - Installing and reinstalling server operating systems such as Linux, Windows, HP-UX, and Red Hat - Administering packages on the server - Managing user accounts and permissions - Handling file systems administration and monitoring - Setting up and managing clusters, including monitoring and administration - Basic scripting using Cell scripting - Scheduling Cron Jobs for automation - Configuring SSH for secure communication - Administering Logical Volume Manager (LVM) - Configuring NTP for time synchronization - Monitoring resource utilization including CPU, load average, disk space, memory, and I/O utilization - Tuning kernel and critical parameters for optimal performance - Monitoring and managing CPU, Zombie Processes, disk space, memory utilization, and I/O utilization - Applying operating system patches, BIOS updates, firmware updates, drivers, and necessary system updates - Regular analysis of events, kernel messages, system logs, and application logs Qualifications required for this role: - Proven experience as a Linux Administrator or similar role - Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems and server administration - Experience in scripting and automation - Familiarity with monitoring tools and resource utilization analysis - Ability to troubleshoot and resolve system issues efficiently - Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment This is a full-time, permanent position with benefits including health insurance.
