Role & responsibilities

Preferred candidate profile

Key Responsibilities:

• Laser Cutting & Programming:

• Supervise laser cutting operations and ensure machines are programmed accurately.
• Coordinate with programmers to optimize cutting patterns and minimize material waste.
• Maintain machine performance and troubleshoot issues.

• Bending Operations:

• Oversee bending processes to ensure components meet design specifications.
• Manage bending machine operators and ensure proper machine setup and maintenance.

• Production Planning:

• Prepare and manage production schedules to meet delivery deadlines.
• Coordinate with procurement and warehouse for material availability.
• Monitor production progress and resolve any bottlenecks or delays.

• Team Management:

• Lead and motivate the production team including machine operators and programmers.
• Train team members on safety and quality standards.

• Quality & Safety:

• Ensure all products meet quality standards and specifications.
• Enforce safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.

• Reporting:

• Maintain daily production reports and communicate updates to management.
• Identify process improvements and cost-saving opportunities.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or related field.
• 7-11 years experience in stainless steel sheet metal fabrication, including laser cutting, bending, Programming, and production planning.
• Good knowledge of laser cutting machines, CNC programming, and bending equipment.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Good communication and team management skills.
• Familiarity with SAP production planning software is a plus.
