Job Description

The Learning and Development professional will be responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating training programs for students, faculty, and staff in the field of teacher training and educational research. Your role will focus on enhancing pedagogical skills, professional development, digital teaching practices, and overall academic excellence within UITTR. You will be responsible for designing, planning, and delivering training programs for student-teachers, faculty, and academic staff. Conducting workshops on pedagogy, classroom management, instructional design, and innovative teaching methodologies will be a key part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will be required to develop e-learning modules and blended learning strategies aligned with NEP 2020 and global teaching standards. Collaborating with subject experts to design training content, manuals, and resource materials will be essential. You will also need to incorporate technology-based teaching tools, AI in education, and digital learning platforms. Updating training programs regularly to keep pace with emerging trends in teacher education is another crucial aspect of this role. Organizing Faculty Development Programs (FDPs), refresher courses, and orientation programs to enhance the research and teaching capabilities of UITTR faculty members will be part of your responsibilities. You will also be conducting soft skills, communication skills, and leadership workshops for B.Ed., M.Ed., and Ph.D. scholars. Training students in innovative teaching practices, lesson planning, and curriculum integration will be a key focus area. Developing mechanisms to assess training effectiveness and learning outcomes, collecting feedback from participants, and maintaining L&D records, reports, and performance tracking will be important tasks. Organizing seminars, conferences, and guest lectures with national/international experts will also be part of your responsibilities. Qualifications & Skills: - Masters in Education, Teacher Training, HRD, or related field. - Proven experience in Learning & Development, Training, or Academic Development. - Strong knowledge of pedagogy, curriculum design, and teacher education. - Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills. - Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS), e-learning tools, and digital pedagogy. - Ability to manage multiple programs and work collaboratively with faculty and students.
