Lead/Manager Software Engineer

As a Senior Python Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the AM Research Technology team, you will be an integral part of an agile team dedicated to enhancing, building, and delivering trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable manner. Your role will involve driving significant business impact through your capabilities and contributions, applying deep technical expertise, and problem-solving methodologies to address a diverse array of challenges across multiple technologies and applications, especially focusing on cloud-based systems and AI-driven solutions. - Develop secure and high-quality production code, review, and debug code written by others, with a specific focus on cloud-based systems utilizing AWS and Python. - Implement and optimize RAG-based semantic search and LLM inference workflows using OpenAI and Claude models. - Influence product design decisions, application functionality, and technical operations and processes. - Serve as a subject matter expert in cloud deployment and AI technologies within the function. - Contribute actively to the engineering community by advocating firmwide frameworks, tools, and practices of the Software Development Life Cycle. - Influence peers and project decision-makers to consider the application of cutting-edge technologies. - Foster a team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect. - Minimum 8-10 years of experience in implementing cloud-based Python applications. - Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability, particularly in cloud environments. - Advanced proficiency in Python programming. - Advanced knowledge of cloud-based systems, artificial intelligence, and machine learning, with considerable expertise in implementing solutions using AWS. - Ability to independently tackle design and functionality issues with minimal oversight, demonstrating self-starter capabilities. - Practical experience with cloud-native technologies, especially AWS. - Educational background in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field.,
