As a member of the Wireless Access Point Software team, you will play a crucial role in developing cutting-edge Wi-Fi solutions, including the latest Wi-Fi 7 access points. Your work will directly impact connectivity for mission-critical applications worldwide, contributing to the advancement of wireless infrastructure technologies. Key Responsibilities: - Design and deliver new software and features for next-generation Wi-Fi Access Points, including architecting, writing code, and modifying software to enhance performance and functionality. - Participate in multiple project teams to develop software for advanced Wi-Fi products, collaborating with engineers and cross-functional teams. - Work closely with system test and validation engineers to ensure system test and integration. - Expand and refine the capabilities of wireless access points beyond Wi-Fi to support and simplify connectivity in a connected world. - Utilize advanced programming skills in C and/or C++ for embedded systems development, along with expertise in 802.11 protocols and LAN/WAN routing/switching. - Engage in troubleshooting using network protocol analyzers, hardware debuggers, and source-level debuggers to address issues at all layers of the stack. - Collaborate with multi-functional teams such as test, product management, and customer support to deliver and maintain solutions with a high level of quality. Qualifications Required: - 11+ years of experience with a BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent. - Advanced programming skills in C and/or C++ for embedded systems development. - Strong analytical and logical problem-solving skills. - Expertise in 802.11 protocols and LAN/WAN routing/switching. - Strong systems and networking knowledge, including systems architecture, memory hierarchy, and LANs. - Comfortable using network protocol analyzers, hardware debuggers, and source-level debuggers for troubleshooting. - Excellent skills in collaborating with multi-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions. - Self-motivated, team player with a strong sense of ownership and commitment to ongoing self-improvement.
