Lead - Voyage Optimization

As a Voyage Optimization professional at Smart Ship Hub, you will be responsible for leading a team of analysts and leveraging your sailing experience as a First Officer to optimize voyages for customer vessels. Your role will involve the following key responsibilities: - Lead the team by setting examples and ensuring smooth project performance. - Track project performance and proactively resolve any issues that may arise. - Take charge of customer vessels" voyages, advising on optimal routes and speeds in alignment with commercial needs and agreements. - Analyze completed voyages and provide comprehensive reports and feedback to internal and external stakeholders, including voyage performance and claims evaluation. - Assist customer success teams in onboarding and scaling up existing customers. - Gain expertise in the back-end processes of Smart Ship Hub's optimization platform to effectively guide front-end and user interface decisions. - Utilize Smart Ship Hub applications to determine the most optimal and weather-safe routes for customers. - Optimize the voyages of global fleets to reduce fuel consumption and greenhouse gas emissions. - Stay updated on new technologies in the maritime sector and apply them to contribute to industry growth. - Collaborate with diverse internal teams across different time zones and seniority levels. Your qualifications should include: - A minimum of 6-7 years of relevant experience in Voyage Optimization. - Background in the marine industry with a focus on technology and data-driven solutions. - Excellent communication skills. - Previous experience in leading a team of analysts.
