The Impact you will have in this role:
The Enterprise Test Engineering ("ETE") family is responsible for ensuring that all applications and systems meet defined quality standards. The ETE family encompasses three major areas including (a) functional testing, (b) non-functional testing, and (c) test architecture and enablement. Other key focuses includeregression testing, browser testing, performance testing, capacity and stress testing, resiliency testing, environment management services, and infrastructure testing. Develops, conducts, and evaluates testing processes, working closely with developers to remediate identified system defects. In-depth knowledge of automated testing tools, and quality control and assurance approaches including the creation of reusable foundational test automation framework for the entire organization. The Test Engineering role is responsible for ensuring that all applications, system products, projects, and solutions meet defined enterprise quality standards. Provide centralized, independent quality assurance services across the firm, including functional and non-functional testing for all products, services, and applications across businesses. Design, develop, and maintain automated testing solutions, providing testing expertise, oversight, and direction to ensure the functionality of solutions and that design specifications are met.
Your Primary Responsibilities:
Prepare, maintain and execute test cases based on user stories; present results and track defects to closure Prepare, maintain and execute automated test scripts Maintain traceability from business requirements through test cases to automated scripts Review test cases / automation approach with stakeholder to ensure comprehensive coverage and obtain feedback Track test execution milestones, report on issues and risks with the potential to affect project timelines Construct appropriate end-2-end business scenarios through the application of a broad understanding of business objectives and goals Collaborate with delivery pipeline teams to drive adoption and resolve open issues; Work with frontend, backend, and smart contract engineers to ensure product quality Plan and prioritize testing activities Maintain and improve an existing test automation framework Develop automation tests for APIs and UIs Execute, maintain and update automation tests Review and analyze tests execution results Maintain all related test documentation Prepare testing data Proactively obtain and clarify requirements as necessary Mentor less skilled teammates and newcomers
Requirements:
Strong knowledge of blockchain technology Strong knowledge of OOP (understanding OOP in automation) Excellent knowledge of automation testing principles Excellent knowledge of web-based application structure Expert in API testing Experience in UI testing Wide experience in developing automation testing frameworks Hands-on experience with Cypress and Playwright CI knowledge and experience (Azure DevOps) Good theoretical knowledge of testing levels and types Test design techniques knowledge Deep understanding of SDLC (SCRUM, Kanban) Knowledge and experience in reviewing requirements Problem-solving skills Databases general knowledge (SQL)
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of related experience Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience

The salary range is indicative for roles at the same level within DTCC across all US locations.
