About the Role

M2P Fintech is looking for highly skilled and experienced AI/ML Engineering Lead to lead a team of engineers in developing and deploying cutting-edge AI solutions. You will be responsible for driving the technical vision, managing project execution, and mentoring a team of talented engineers to deliver scalable and impactful AI/ML products. As part of a cross functional team, you will be working in a fast-paced and agile work environment delivering quality and innovative solutions that have immediate business impact. You will take the challenges and ownership that comes while developing a complex system. You will also be a team player with a knack for visual design and utility.

What Will You Do in this Role

Team Leadership & Management

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of AI/ML engineers and data scientists.
• Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and career development planning.

Technical Strategy & Execution

• Define and drive the AI/ML roadmap in alignment with business goals.
• Oversee the design, development, and deployment of ML models and AI systems.
• Ensure best practices in model development, testing, deployment, and monitoring.

Project Management

• Manage project timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communication.
• Collaborate with product managers, data engineers, and software teams.
• Ensure timely delivery of high-quality AI/ML solutions. 

Innovation & Research

• Stay up to date with the latest advancements in AI/ML.
• Evaluate and integrate new tools, frameworks, and technologies. 
• Encourage experimentation and innovation within the team.

What Youll Need to be Successful in this Role

• B.E or B.Tech in Computer Science or any equivalent degree.
• 7+ years of experience in software engineering or data science, with 2+ years in a leadership role. 
• Proven experience in building and deploying machine learning models at scale.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or similar languages.
• Deep understanding of ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and MLOps tools.
• Experience with deep learning, NLP, computer vision, or reinforcement learning.
• Familiarity with data engineering pipelines and big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Kafka).
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. 
• Experience working in agile development environments.
• Working knowledge of architectures, trends, and emerging technologies.
• Solid understanding of the full software development life cycle.
• Multi-tasking, prioritizing/ effective time management and eye for detail would be key skills required for this role.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
• Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and deadlines.
• Previous experience in Banking or Fintech or related field is a plus.
