Job Description

Role Overview: As a Test Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring adherence to test practices and processes to improve test coverage. Your role will involve creating test estimates and schedules, identifying business processes, conducting risk analysis, ensuring test coverage, producing test results, defect reports, test logs, and reports for evidence of testing. You will also publish RCA reports and preventive measures, report progress of testing, and contribute to revenue savings for the client by suggesting alternate methods. Key Responsibilities: - Create test estimates and schedules - Identify business processes, conduct risk analysis, and ensure test coverage - Ensure adherence to processes and standards - Produce test results, defect reports, test logs, and reports - Publish RCA reports and preventive measures - Report progress of testing - Contribute to revenue savings for the client by suggesting alternate methods - Participate in review walkthrough demo and obtain sign off by stakeholders for test design - Prepare test summary report for modules/features - Analyze, prioritize, identify gaps, and create workflow diagrams based on requirements/user stories - Participate in test management - Prepare estimates, schedule, and identify dependencies - Consume, contribute, review best practices, lessons learned, and retrospective - Conduct root cause and trend analysis of the defects - Identify test scenarios, create/review test scenarios, and prepare RTM - Ability to create and manage a test plan - Ability to prepare schedules based on estimates - Ability to track and report progress - Ability to analyze requirements/user stories and prioritize testing - Ability to carry out RCA - Ability to capture and report metrics Qualification Required: - Knowledge of estimation techniques - Knowledge of testing standards - Knowledge of identifying the scope of testing - Knowledge of RCA techniques - Knowledge of test design techniques - Knowledge of test methodologies Skills Required: - C# .Net - Selenium Automation - Postman - Swagger,
