Lead Software Engineer- VB.net

As a Lead Engineer based in Bangalore on a full-time basis, you will be responsible for the design, development, and deployment of new features and enhancements in VB.NET. With 8 to 10 years of experience and global exposure with US businesses, you will lead and mentor a cross-functional team of developers, QA engineers, and support staff. Your hands-on development skills will be crucial as you serve as the primary point of contact for technical queries. Additionally, you will implement best practices for code quality, including code reviews, unit testing, and documentation. Your mandatory skills will include proficiency in languages/frameworks such as VB.NET 2012 and 2022, databases like MSSQL Server and MySQL (with strong SQL and Stored Procedures, Triggers knowledge), and web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Advanced DHTML. Experience in API development, specifically with RESTful APIs and integration, will be valuable. Collaboration and support are key aspects of this role. You will collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions. Additionally, you will provide support for upgrades and performance tuning to ensure optimal system performance. Performance optimization will be a significant part of your responsibilities. You will analyze and optimize the solution's performance to provide a smooth user experience. Identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks related to both the front-end (UI) and back-end will be crucial for maintaining system efficiency. Moreover, your experience in building complex and domain-specific reports using tools like Crystal Reports will be advantageous in this role.,
