Lead QA Engineer, AVP

Role Overview: As a Lead QA Engineer at AVP level, you will be responsible for ensuring the testing strategies, plans, and deliverables for all applications and programmes within your domain. Your key role will involve designing and conducting testing procedures to verify software and technical products, investigating instances of underperformance, and driving the adoption of best practices to enhance QA standards across the organization. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Java and testing frameworks like Cucumber BDD - Collaborate with development and QA teams to create a comprehensive automation suite - Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing and deployment - Develop and execute performance, load, and stress testing strategies for application reliability and scalability - Participate in code reviews to ensure test code quality and best practices - Analyze test results, provide detailed reports, and enhance test coverage and efficiency - Stay updated with emerging testing technologies for continuous process improvement Qualifications Required: - Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field - 10+ years of hands-on experience in quality assurance, with 7+ years in test automation - Strong proficiency in Java and experience with automation frameworks like Serenity BDD Cucumber, Gatling - Hands-on experience with version control systems, CI/CD tools, and build tools - Experience in testing RESTful APIs and web services - Knowledge of BDD/TDD methodologies and tools like Cucumber - Experience in Agile/Scrum environments - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Additional Details: The company, Deutsche Bank Group, fosters a culture of empowerment, responsibility, commercial thinking, and collaboration.
