As a Power BI Developer at Dentsu, you will play a crucial role in the Enterprise Data team by leveraging your expertise in Power BI and data visualization to drive leading-edge business analytics. **Key Responsibilities:** - Building Enterprise Power BI reporting solutions to meet the organization's data visualization needs. - Defining and designing data visualization models and solutions within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem using tools like Power BI, Azure Synapse Analytics, MSFT Fabric, and Azure Machine Learning. - Developing strategies for analytics, reporting, and governance to ensure scalability, reliability, and security. - Evaluating emerging Power BI technologies and analytical capabilities to enhance existing solutions. - Providing guidance on cost optimization, performance tuning, and best practices in Power BI & Analytics solutions. - Collaborating with business stakeholders, product managers, and data scientists to understand business objectives and translate them into technical solutions. - Working with DevOps, engineering, and operations teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and ensure smooth deployment of analytical solutions. **Qualifications Required:** - Proficiency in Power BI and related technologies such as MSFT Fabric, Azure SQL Database, Azure Synapse, Databricks, and other visualization tools. - Hands-on experience with Power BI, machine learning, and AI services in Azure. - Excellent data visualization skills and experience. - Expertise in DAX. In terms of technical expertise, you should possess: **Professional Experience:** - 5+ years of experience in Power BI Development, with a proven track record of designing high-quality models and dashboards using Power BI to transform raw data into meaningful insights. - Extensive experience using Power BI Desktop, DAX, Tabular Editor, and related tools. - Proficiency in Power BI Premium capacity administration and SQL development. - Comprehensive understanding of data modeling, administration, and visualization. - Relevant certifications in Power BI, machine learning, AI, or enterprise architecture. **Key Competencies:** - Expertise in data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau. - Ability to create semantic models for reporting purposes. - Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric technologies including One Lake, Lakehouse, and Data Factory. - Strong understanding of data governance, compliance, and security frameworks. - Proven ability to drive innovation in data strategy and cloud solutions. - Deep understanding of business intelligence workflows and the ability to align technical solutions. - Strong database design skills, encompassing both normalized form and dimensional form databases. - In-depth knowledge and experience of data warehousing strategies and techniques such as Kimball Data warehousing. - Experience in cloud-based data integration tools like Azure Data Factory. - Familiarity with agile development techniques and objectives.
