Lead ML Engineer

Currently, we are in search of a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to lead the design, development, and deployment of Computer Vision solutions in production environments. Responsibilities As a Senior ML Engineer at Biz-Tech Analytics, you will be responsible for leading the development and deployment of advanced computer vision systems that drive AI automation across various operational workflows. Your role will involve overseeing the entire solution lifecycle, from problem scoping and model development to deployment and performance monitoring. You will also collaborate with a team of ML engineers to: - Lead the design and deployment of computer vision models for tasks such as object detection, tracking, human activity analysis, and visual quality control. - Build and optimize image and video data pipelines to ensure a robust data flow from sensors, cameras, and other sources. - Architect real-time vision systems with a focus on latency, accuracy, and scalability for edge and cloud environments. - Mentor and guide junior ML engineers, promoting a culture of high technical standards and collaborative problem-solving. - Stay updated on the latest computer vision research and integrate new models into existing workflows. - Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders on AI solutioning, PoCs, and consulting projects. Qualifications To be considered for this role, you should possess: - At least 5+ years of experience in Machine Learning with a focus on Computer Vision projects deployed in production environments and optimizing models for runtime efficiency. - Proficiency in Python and demonstrated expertise in computer vision applications such as object detection, facial recognition, defect detection, and tracking using libraries like PyTorch, TensorFlow, OpenCV, etc. - A solid understanding of MLOps workflows, data pipelines, and scalable deployment strategies. - Previous experience in leading ML teams, mentoring engineers, and managing project deliverables. - The ability to thrive in an agile, startup-like environment that values problem-solving and ownership. - Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate complex technical concepts and develop actionable project plans. Good to Have Additionally, experience in the following areas would be beneficial: - Vision-based automation in the manufacturing industry. - Exposure to Generative AI workflows. - Familiarity with Large Language Models (LLMs) and building multi-modal AI pipelines. - Understanding of AI governance, data compliance, and security protocols.
