Job Description

As a skilled and motivated Lead Java Developer with 5-8 years of experience, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance Java applications. Your strong understanding of object-oriented programming, backend development, and modern software engineering best practices will be essential in contributing to all phases of the software development lifecycle. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams and writing clean, scalable code to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Own the technical direction and ensure the team delivers high-quality, scalable, and maintainable solutions while guiding and mentoring team members. - Design, code, debug, unit test, and document large, complex software applications. - Collaborate on technical implementation, assist other developers and consultants in implementation and development. - Demonstrate capability to effectively assimilate new skills and use new technologies. - Take ownership of complex, ambiguous problems and drive end-to-end solutions. - Make architectural and design decisions, ensuring scalability and maintainability. - Mentor and support junior team members through code reviews and guidance. - Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and contribute to technical planning. - Proactively identify technical risks and propose improvements across the codebase or processes. - Ensure exceptional productivity and attention to product quality issues. - Be accountable to deliver tasks to agreed standards. - Adhere to development standards and architectural guidelines set by the Solution Design team. - Develop all technical aspects of eCommerce stores, from commerce to content and all integration with external systems. - Monitor and appraise emerging trends and technologies in software engineering independently and make recommendations or undertake independent research to validate new ideas. - Act as the key trouble-shooter in complex/escalated incidents. - Provide innovative ideas and solutions in an ever-changing environment with up-to-date knowledge regarding existing technologies. Qualifications Required: - Graduation in relevant field - 5-8 years of hands-on experience in Java development - Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and backend development - Experience in designing, coding, debugging, and unit testing large, complex software applications - Knowledge of modern software engineering best practices (Note: No additional details about the company were provided in the job description),
