Lead Java Backend Developer

Role and responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable, high-performance backend solutions using Java and related frameworks.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices to support front-end and mobile applications.
• Ensure code quality, security, and performance through effective design, coding, and testing practices.
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers, UI Engineers, and DevOps teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Take ownership of assigned modules and provide technical guidance to the team.
• Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to system design and improvement.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement sustainable fixes.

Technical skills requirements

The candidate must demonstrate proficiency in:

• Languages: Java JDK 8/17+, Go, JavaScript
  Framework: Springboot, Spring Micro-services, Sprint security, Multi-threading, etc Orchestration: Docker, K8s Event framework: Rabbit MQ, Kafka, Zookeeper Database: MySQL, Oracle, MSSQL, Mongo, AWS RDS Operating Systems: Linux, Windows 10/11, AIX Networking: TCP/IP, HTTP, HTTPS, WSS, FTP
• Cloud Platform: AWS
  Automation Tools: Jenkins, ELK Stack Monitoring Tools: AWS CloudWatch, ELK, Grafana, etc
• Strong experience in

  Core Java, Java 8+, Spring Boot, and REST API development

• Hands-on experience with

  microservices architecture

  and

  containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)

  .
• Good understanding of

  database systems

  (both SQL and NoSQL).
• Experience integrating with third-party APIs and handling authentication (OAuth2, JWT, etc.).
• Strong focus on

  code quality, scalability, and performance optimization

• Familiarity with

  CI/CD pipelines, Git, and build tools (Maven/Gradle)

• Excellent debugging and analytical skills to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts clearly.
