Job Description

Role Overview: As a Data Visualization Lead at UST, you will be responsible for creating intuitive, responsive, and accessible data visualizations for a variety of devices. With your strong front-end development experience and expertise in React.js and Deck.gl, you will lead a small development team in delivering impactful projects. Your proficiency in JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and rendering technologies will be crucial in working with large-scale datasets and geospatial data. Key Responsibilities: - Lead a small development team, providing guidance, mentoring, and conducting code reviews - Create intuitive and accessible data visualizations using React.js and Deck.gl - Work with large-scale datasets, geospatial data, and coordinate systems effectively - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project delivery - Utilize data manipulation libraries and RESTful APIs to enhance visualizations - Demonstrate leadership skills in guiding the team through Agile project environments - Stay updated with modern build tools, performance optimization tools, and state management libraries Qualifications Required: - Strong front-end development experience with a minimum of 2 years focused on data visualization - Proficiency in React.js, Deck.gl, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML/CSS, and rendering technologies - Hands-on experience with data manipulation libraries such as D3.js and RESTful APIs - Proven leadership skills in guiding small development teams and project delivery - Excellent collaboration and communication skills for effective teamwork - Ability to create intuitive, responsive, and accessible data visualizations for various devices,
