Lead Engineer - Testing

As an Automation Engineer (Software Test Analyst Senior) at FIS, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic team focused on developing cutting-edge solutions for the financial services and technology sectors. Your role will involve the following key responsibilities: - UI Automation using Java and Java Selenium and API Testing - Performance Testing using JMeter or any other tool to establish performance baselines and trends - Conducting requirement analysis, designing test plans, preparing test data, and creating test automation frameworks - Reporting and tracking defects, engaging with stakeholders, implementing CI/CD processes, and identifying automation opportunities - Automating test scenarios and manual tasks through innovative approaches - Collaborating with stakeholders, clients, and global teams to deliver automation solutions - Understanding product functionalities, participating in solution design, and leading testing activities - Engineering and evaluating test data throughout the software development life cycle - Performing functional, regression, performance, usability, integration, and acceptance testing - Working closely with developers and business analysts to resolve issues and implement changes - Establishing quality processes, managing document repositories, and providing mentorship to junior team members Qualifications required for this role include: - Hands-on experience in Automation Framework Design with Java and Selenium, familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and GIT - Proficiency in Selenium automation, Java J2EE, and functional testing - Knowledge of QA processes, test case management tools, and version control systems - Understanding of capital markets domain, financial software, SQL, PL/SQL, and UNIX/Linux commands - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to work under deadlines, and effective communication abilities Desirable skills that would be beneficial for this role include knowledge of SCRUM practices and experience in performance and non-functional testing.
