Lead Data Engineer
passionate about building scalable data pipelines, optimizing data flows, and enabling data-driven decision-making. You'll collaborate across departments to shape purposeful data products and ensure insights are accessible and actionable.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and build secure, reusable code base, data assets and pipelines (ETL/ELT).
- Own end-to-end data products: define purpose, roadmap, and delivery.
- Advise on data model design and architecture.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver SMARTLINK IoT-based reports.
- Lead projects end to end (inception to adoption)
To succeed, you will need
Skills & Experience
- 6+ years in data engineering, strong in SQL, Python, and data modelling.
- Experience with BI principles, dimensional modelling, and visualization.
- Familiarity with cloud data platforms and documentation practices.
- Interested in modern technologies and industrial data contexts.
- Knowledge of Azure tools (e.g., Databricks) is a plus.
- Understanding of agile methodologies or product ownership principles.
