Role Overview:

We are looking for a strategic, hands-on, and technically strong Lead Data Analyst. You will play a critical role in guiding business decisions with high-impact data insights while mentoring a growing team of analysts. This is a high-ownership role that blends leadership, analytics, and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership & Development
  • Lead, coach, and grow a team of analysts; foster a culture of ownership, curiosity, and analytical excellence.
  • Set clear goals, review work for quality, and guide technical and professional development of the team.
• Analytics Strategy & Execution
  • Partner with business, product, and tech teams to translate strategic objectives into actionable data insights.
  • Design and drive core analytics frameworks to measure performance, customer behavior, operations, and profitability.
  • Own end-to-end analytics delivery — from problem definition to actionable recommendations.
• Reporting & Visualization
  • Build robust, scalable dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau, Power BI, SQL, Excel, and Python.
  • Enable leadership and cross-functional teams with real-time visibility and self-service analytics tools.
  • Ensure consistency, data accuracy, and relevance across reporting layers.
• Data-Driven Problem Solving
  • Identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities through deep dives and statistical analysis.
  • Drive business-critical analyses in areas such as last-mile efficiency, customer satisfaction, and network performance.
  • Recommend improvements to operational processes based on insights.
• Data Quality & Governance
  • Set data quality standards, perform data validation, and manage data integrity across sources.
  • Work with engineering teams to ensure data pipelines are reliable and well-documented.
• Stakeholder Engagement
  • Serve as a thought partner to senior leadership — influencing business strategy with evidence-backed insights.
  • Manage data requests, timelines, and expectations across multiple internal stakeholders

Required Skills & Experience

• 4+ years of experience in data analytics, with at least 2 years in a team lead or managerial role.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL, Excel, and Python for data manipulation and analysis.
• Hands-on experience with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and working with data warehouses/lakes.
• Strong statistical and analytical thinking — capable of handling ambiguity and solving complex problems.
• Excellent communication skills — able to simplify complex data for business audiences.
• Experience in a high-growth, fast-paced environment preferred (logistics, e-commerce, or tech startups a plus).
