As a Lead Backend Engineer, you will play a crucial role in building scalable, reliable, and efficient backend systems while making architecture decisions, guiding a team of engineers, and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver impactful tech solutions. **Key Responsibilities:** - Architect and build robust, scalable backend systems. - Lead a team of developers, guide code quality, reviews, and performance. - Collaborate with product, design, and frontend teams to define and deliver features. - Own backend architecture decisions and drive modernization initiatives. - Implement CI/CD, monitoring, testing strategies, and DevOps practices. - Solve performance, reliability, and scalability challenges. - Stay ahead of backend trends and bring innovative ideas to the table. **Qualifications Required:** - 8+ years of backend development experience using Python / Node.js / Java / C#. - 4+ years of leadership or mentorship experience. - Hands-on experience with REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems. - Solid knowledge of cloud platforms AWS / Azure / GCP. - Experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, Git, and modern DevOps tools. - Strong grasp of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns. - Ability to work independently and drive projects end-to-end.
