As part of the team, your responsibilities will include evaluating the existing technological landscape and formulating a progressive, short-term, and long-term technology strategic vision. You will actively contribute to the creation and dissemination of best practices, technical content, and innovative reference architectures. Collaborating with data engineers and data scientists, you will play a pivotal role in architecting solutions and frameworks. Moreover, your role will involve ensuring the seamless delivery of services, products, and solutions to our clientele. To excel in this role, you should possess a wealth of experience as an Architect with a strong background in Google Cloud Platform and a genuine interest in leveraging cutting-edge technologies to address business challenges. The ideal candidate will have 11 to 16 years of experience in Data Engineering & Cloud Native technologies, particularly Google Cloud Platforms, encompassing big data, analytics, and AI/ML domains. Proficiency in tools such as BigQuery, Cloud Composer, Data Flow, Cloud Storage, AI Platform/Vertex AI, Dataproc, and GCP IaaS is essential. A solid understanding of Data Engineering, Data Management, and Data Governance is required, along with experience in leading End-to-End Data Engineering and/or Analytics projects. Knowledge of programming languages like Python and Java, coupled with a grasp of technology best practices and development lifecycles such as agile, CI/CD, DevOps, and MLOps, is highly valued. Demonstrable expertise in technical architecture leadership, secure platform development, and creation of future-proof global solutions using GCP services is crucial. Excellent communication and influencing skills are imperative, allowing adaptability to diverse audiences. Desirable skills include experience in Container technology like Docker and Kubernetes, DevOps on GCP, and a Professional Cloud Architect Certification from Google Cloud.
