Kubernetes Administrator

As a Kubernetes Administrator at HCL Software, your primary role involves designing, implementing, managing, and deploying cloud-native applications in a Kubernetes cluster. You will be responsible for building a resilient Kubernetes environment, setting up monitoring and automated alert systems, and managing the Cloud infrastructure including storage and networking services among cluster and pods. Additionally, you will apply DevSecOps practices and CI/CD automations as a part of Cloud orchestration, manage customer escalations as L3/SME, provide troubleshooting with quick turnaround on fixes, create documentation, VLOGs, BLOGs for customers and the team, and collaborate with global product teams. Key Responsibilities: - Design, implement, manage, and deploy cloud-native applications in a Kubernetes cluster - Build resilient Kubernetes environment and set up monitoring and automated alert systems - Manage Cloud infrastructure including storage and networking services among cluster and pods - Apply DevSecOps practices and CI/CD automations as a part of Cloud orchestration - Manage customer escalations as L3/SME, provide troubleshooting with quick turnaround on fixes - Create documentation, VLOGs, BLOGs for customers and the team - Collaborate with global product teams Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in computer science or similar technical field - 2-3 years of experience as a Kubernetes Administrator - Strong experience in Kubernetes administration and management, including deploying, scaling, networking, and managing container-based applications - Additional knowledge of Docker, OpenShift, AWS, GCP, Azure, Azure DevOps, and Kubernetes Certification are added advantages - Good knowledge of DevSecOps practices - Experience in managing MongoDB or any NoSQL database on the cloud is desirable - Good experience in Kubernetes issue root cause analysis and quickly coming up with short-term/long-term fixes - Excellent communication skills with customers At HCL Software, we are a cloud-native solution factory for enterprise software, powering millions of apps at more than 20,000 organizations, including more than half of the Fortune 1000 and Global 2000 companies.
