Junior Web Developer

We are seeking a motivated Junior Web Developer with a passion for creating and maintaining WordPress websites, alongside hands-on experience in implementing SEO best practices. This role is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail and a desire to grow both their technical and digital marketing skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites for clients or in-house projects.
• Assist in designing website layouts and user interfaces using WordPress themes and plugins.
• Optimize websites for speed, scalability, and SEO according to latest industry best practices.
• Implement on-page SEO elements such as metadata, image optimization, internal linking, and keyword integration.
• Monitor and analyze website performance using SEO and analytics tools (e.g., Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMrush).
• Troubleshoot website issues and provide technical support as needed.
• Collaborate with designers, content writers, and senior developers for smooth project delivery.
• Stay updated with the latest trends in WordPress development and search engine optimization.

Requirements:

• 0-2 years of experience in web development, preferably with WordPress.
• Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience working with WordPress themes, plugins, and builders (e.g., Elementor, WPBakery).
• Fundamental knowledge of on-page SEO techniques and best practices.
• Familiarity with SEO tools and Google Analytics/Search Console.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Digital Marketing, or a related field preferred (not mandatory).

Nice to Have:

• Experience with basic graphic editing tools (e.g., Photoshop, Canva).
• Familiarity with basic PHP and MySQL.
• Understanding of web hosting and domain management.
