Responsibilities
- Translate user needs into intuitive, user-friendly designs for web and mobile platforms
- Collaborate with designers and developers to maintain design system consistency across products
- Support user research efforts, including usability testing and synthesizing findings
- Create wireframes, user flows, and interactive prototypes to communicate design ideas
- Design within brand guidelines to deliver clean, consistent visual layouts
- Assist with developing onboarding materials, user guides, and help documentation
- Conduct basic competitive analysis and heuristic reviews to inform design decisions
- Participate in early-stage concepting and stakeholder discussions to align on product goals
- Contribute to QA processes by supporting usability testing and bug bashes
- Continuously learn and adapt through feedback and team collaboration
Skills and Expertise
- Strong knowledge of
UX, IxD
and IA. - Ability to translate business goals, user needs, and technical constraints into clear, usable design solutions
- Skilled at creating
wireframes, prototypes, user flows,
journey maps, and other UX deliverables that support intuitive, accessible user experiences - Experienced in designing responsive interfaces across mobile and web platforms
- Fluent in design tools like
Figma, Sketch,
orAdobe XD;
comfortable with rapid iteration and feedback - Collaborate effectively with developers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to align on vision and execution
- Confident communicator, able to present research insights and design rationale clearly to both design and non-design audiences
- Knowledge of design systems, and maintaining consistency across digital products
Required Qualifications
- 1 to 3 years of industry experience in a digital work environment
- The ability to present design ideas with clarity and passion, and to receive feedback with open-mindedness
- Must be proficient in Figma, with a solid understanding of its design, prototyping, and collaboration features
- A high degree of creativity, empathy, passion, and problem-solving ability
- Expert in all areas of user experience design (information architecture, interaction design, visual design, prototype engineering, content, user experience)
- Excellent organizational and time management
- Skilled in prioritizing and managing changing priorities
- Skilled in anticipating, identifying, analyzing, and resolving conflict and problems
- Adapt to changing business needs
- An absolute love of type and layout
- Able to work at a computer (sitting or standing) for extended periods
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Experience working with or contributing to a design system
- Familiarity with basic front-end concepts (HTML, CSS, responsive design principles)
- Exposure to tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Miro, or FigJam for visual or collaborative work
- Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design principles
- Familiarity with Agile or Scrum environments
- Exposure to analytics tools (e.g., Hotjar, GA4) to understand user behavior
- Awareness of current design trends and the ability to apply them thoughtfully
