JD - (SAP Basis operations Analyst, USIPL IT) Part I - Role Details Job Role Junior SAP Basis Operations Analyst, IT Operations Job Title - Junior SAP Basis Operations Analyst, Unipart India Function - We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior SAP Basis Operations Analyst to join our IT Operations team. This role is ideal for someone who has completed SAP Basis training and certification and is eager to begin their career in SAP support. The role involves performing SAP system monitoring using Control-M and Solution Manager, supporting daily operational activities, and contributing to the stability of business-critical systems. The position requires a willingness to work in a 24x7 rotational shift environment and provides excellent exposure to enterprise SAP landscapes. The position is based in India, with opportunities to collaborate with international teams. Reports to - SAP Basis Team Lead, Signite IT, Unipart Group Part II Role Responsibilities Principal Accountabilities - As part of the SAP Basis operations team, the selected candidate will: -Monitor SAP system health and batch jobs using Control-M and SAP Solution Manager -Identify, log, and escalate job failures and system alerts as per SOPs -Execute and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly operational reporting -Provide real-time support in coordination with SAP Basis and application teams -Document issues, shift activities, and process improvements -Participate in shift handovers to ensure continuity of support -Work in a 24x7 rotating shift schedule (morning, afternoon, night) -Support SAP Basis administrative activities under guidance of senior team members Education / Qualification - Graduate in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or any related field. -Completed SAP Basis training with certification from a recognized institute. -Additional IT-related certifications would be a plus. Language Proficiency - English Experience 0.5 to 2 years of hands-on experience in SAP Basis support Exposure to SAP tools such as Control-M and Solution Manager preferred Familiarity with ITSM/ticketing tools (e.g., ServiceNow, JIRA) Knowledge and skill set Basic understanding of SAP Basis concepts and system landscapes. -Familiarity with job scheduling tools (e.g., Control-M preferred). -Awareness of Solution Manager monitoring features. -Willingness to work in rotational shifts (including weekends). -Strong communication and teamwork skills. -High accountability, attention to detail, and discipline. -ITIL knowledge (optional but useful). -Passion for learning and growing within SAP technical areas.
