Junior Digital Buildings System Engineer

As a Digital Buildings System Engineer at FPC Global, your role involves managing the complete process of onboarding and integrating diverse building management systems (BMS), IoT devices, and facility management solutions into a designated cloud platform. You will work across various hardware and software ecosystems, ensuring seamless data integration and compatibility, regardless of brand or manufacturer. Your expertise in building automation technologies and communication protocols will enable you to connect disparate systems for secure and optimized data flow, real-time analytics, remote monitoring, and enhanced operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities: - Ensure smooth integration, optimization, and security of applications on cloud platforms - Troubleshoot issues, manage performance, and align cloud solutions with business objectives - Assess and analyze existing building systems, including BMS, HVAC, lighting, energy, and IoT devices - Map and document building systems architecture for compatibility with cloud migration strategies - Configure cloud infrastructure to receive and process data from various building systems - Develop data flow protocols from on-premises systems to cloud platforms, ensuring data quality - Implement cybersecurity measures to protect building and operational data - Analyze system data to generate insights on performance and sustainability - Collaborate with IT, facility management, and operations teams to understand system requirements - Conduct testing to validate data integrity and system performance - Maintain documentation of onboarding processes and system configurations - Represent FPC in a professional manner and achieve customer satisfaction Qualifications: Required Qualifications & Experience: - 4 to 7 years of experience in building automation systems, cloud integration, or IT infrastructure roles - Strong understanding of cybersecurity best practices - Technical expertise in digital building projects, controls systems, and automation - Bachelors degree in Controls Engineering or a related field Certifications (Preferred): - Experience with BMS systems such as Niagara, Delmatic, Delta, or LoRaWAN - Cloud platform expertise in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud - Fluent in both spoken and written German and English - Flexibility for travel within Germany Additional Information: At FPC Global, you will be part of a thriving community that values innovation, celebrates ideas, and shapes careers.
