Junior DevOps Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive Junior DevOps Engineer with 2-3 years of hands-on experience in managing cloud infrastructure, containerized deployments, and CI/CD automation. You’ll work closely with development and operations teams to ensure smooth, reliable, and scalable deployments across our environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
• Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, or GKE).
• Manage cloud infrastructure on AWS / Azure / GCP, ensuring cost efficiency and reliability.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform for consistent environment setup.
• Monitor system performance, availability, and security using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or CloudWatch.
• Assist in automating deployments, configuration, and scaling processes. Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot environment or deployment issues.
• Maintain proper documentation for infrastructure and automation workflows.

Required Skills

• 2-4 years of practical DevOps or Cloud Infrastructure experience. Proficiency in Docker.
• Working experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS / Azure).
• Experience creating and managing CI/CD pipelines.
• Good knowledge of Terraform or equivalent IaC tools.
• Strong understanding of Linux, basic networking, and shell scripting.
• Familiar with Git and version control best practices.
• Understanding of basic monitoring and logging systems.

Good to Have

• Knowledge of Ansible or similar configuration management tools.
• Experience with microservices and container orchestration. Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes deployment & management.
• 'Exposure to Python or Go scripting. Cloud certifications (AWS/Azure) are a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to ₹1,300,000.00 per year
