Junior Developer, Media Server

As an excellent hands-on engineer at Crunch Media Works, you will be working on developing the next generation of media server software. You will be a part of a core team dedicated to revolutionizing video sharing technology over the internet by creating a fast and quality video sharing service. Your role will involve making significant contributions to the development of server-side components, providing you with a valuable learning opportunity in the video streaming space. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop server-side components for the video sharing service - Utilize AWS services such as Lambda, EFS, auto scaling, and load balancing - Build and provision dockerized applications - Demonstrate a good understanding of the HTTP protocol - Work with Web Servers like Apache and Nginx, Databases like MySQL, redis, mongoDB, Firebase, Python frameworks like Django, Flask, Source control using Git, and REST APIs - Apply strong understanding of memory management, file I/O, network I/O, concurrency, and multithreading **Qualifications Required:** - Hands-on experience with AWS - Strong programming skills in C/C++ and Python - Familiarity with AWS services and Github - Experience with NoSQL databases for developing mobile backends - Exposure to Agile methodologies and tools like Jira - BS or equivalent in Computer Science or Engineering,
