Jr QA Analyst

As a QA Functional for a POD, your role involves ensuring all functional testing requirements are met and providing support to the Test Automation Engineer. You will work closely with the team to enforce quality improvements and contribute to innovation and initiatives for standardization and automation. Your responsibilities include: - Supporting QA effort and direction within your allocated team and offshore group - Coordinating activities to enforce quality improvements - Preparing test plans, test cases/scripts, and test reports - Executing all tests, both manual and automated, and managing issues and defects - Performing exploratory and regression testing, both manual and automated - Collaborating with all team members in various QA aspects - Supporting the Test Automation Engineer - Actively participating in the QA Chapter - Managing test data effectively To excel in this role, you should have: - 3+ years of QA experience - Experience with qTest, JIRA, Confluence, and Kafka - Experience in API and Database testing - Familiarity with Microsoft Azure environment - Strong knowledge of Agile methodology - Proficiency in QA processes and methodologies - Experience with CI/CD platforms like Bitbucket or Azure Devops is a plus Key attributes and skills required for this role include: - Strong communication skills and a goal-driven mindset - Comprehensive understanding of QA principles - Experience in cross-functional agile teams with a DevOps culture - Familiarity with ALM tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Azure Devops - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, along with exceptional verbal & written communication skills - Self-learning ability - Proven capability to work effectively in both immediate team and center of excellence environments - Ability to evaluate and challenge functional, non-functional, and technical requirements and designs - Capability to work in an onshore/offshore setup Your role as a QA Functional for a POD is crucial in ensuring the quality and efficiency of the testing process within the team.
