Jr. Accountant

Job Purpose:

The Junior Accountant will assist in day-to-day accounting operations, maintain financial records, support audits, and ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions.
• Prepare and process invoices, bills, vouchers, and receipts.
• Assist in preparing balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and other financial reports.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable.
• Perform daily bank reconciliations and journal entries.
• Assist with payroll processing and statutory compliance (TDS, GST, PF, ESIC, etc.).
• Support the senior accountant in monthly, quarterly, and yearly closing activities.
• Maintain proper documentation and filing of accounting records.
• Assist during audits by providing necessary information and documents.
• Coordinate with vendors, clients, and internal departments for accounting-related queries.

Key Skills Required:

• Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Familiarity with accounting software (Tally, ERP, MS Excel).
• Basic knowledge of GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com / M.Com) or related field.
• 0–2 years of experience in accounting or finance (freshers with internship experience can apply).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,244.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
