Journalist

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, or a related field.

Experience:

1–2 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source and gather real-time information from industry professionals, events, and third-party platforms, with a focus on Web3, Blockchain, Cryptocurrency, and NFTs.
• 
  
• Conduct insightful interviews with subject matter experts to obtain accurate and compelling information.
• 
  
• Draft clear, engaging, and impactful news articles, reports, or scripts in English and, where applicable, the interviewee's native language.
• 
  
• Exhibit strong verbal and non-verbal communication skills to deliver news effectively.
• 
  
• Prepare detailed, well-structured reports on breaking news, industry trends, and market developments.
• 
  
• Ensure factual accuracy and uphold journalistic credibility through cross-verification.
• 
  
• Travel, sometimes on short notice, to cover news stories on-site.
• 
  
• Build and maintain trustworthy relationships with industry sources for exclusive content.
• 
  
• Demonstrate creativity and confidence in storytelling and content presentation.
• 
  
• Use social media and digital tools to expand audience reach and engagement.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, or a relevant discipline.
• 
  
• Fundamental understanding of Web3, blockchain technology, cryptocurrency, and decentralised platforms.
• 
  
• Strong skills in writing, editing, and content structuring, in both English and native languages as applicable.
• 
  
• Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication abilities.
• 
  
• High level of creativity and confidence in reporting and storytelling.
• 
  
• Willingness and comfort with frequent travel for field reporting.

Strong interpersonal and networking skills to connect with sources and audiences.
