About the Role

Backend Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain server-side logic and backend systems.
• Build and maintain RESTful (and possibly SOAP) APIs.
• Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements.
• Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code with appropriate documentation.
• Independently manage assigned tasks and take full ownership.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve complex backend issues and performance bottlenecks.
• Keep up with emerging technologies and industry trends in backend development.

Technical Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have:

• 3+ years of experience as a Backend Developer.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (preferred).
• Strong command over:
• Core Java & Advanced Java
• Spring Framework & Spring Boot
• RESTful APIs development
• MySQL, NoSQL, Hibernate & JPA
• Version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Redis, ActiveMQ
• Debugging & troubleshooting skills

Good to Have:

• Understanding of AWS
• Familiarity with AGILE methodologies
• Exposure to NoSQL databases
• Knowledge of Functional and Object-Oriented Programming principles
• Experience with Python
