Job Summary:

Senior Java Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Support existing

  mainframe COBOL applications

  , including light testing and coding tasks (with guidance).
• Collaborate on the

  transition from COBOL to Java-based microservices

  and batch applications.
• Design, develop, and maintain Java applications using

  Spring Boot, Spring JDBC

  , and other components in the Spring ecosystem.
• Develop and support

  microservices

  batch processing

  systems.
• Work with

  AWS cloud services

  ,

  Docker

  , and

  Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)

  for deployment and environment management.
• Build and maintain

  CI/CD pipelines using GitLab

  and manage code versioning with

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including QA, DevOps, and Product Owners.
• Ensure high code quality through best practices, code reviews, and proper documentation.
• Participate in Agile development methodologies and daily stand-ups.
