Java Solution Architect

As a Technical/Solution Architect at Wipro Limited, your role is to create exceptional product architectural designs for both existing and new products. You will be responsible for enabling delivery teams to provide exceptional client engagement and satisfaction. - Achieve organization goals by defining, integrating, and upgrading a comprehensive architecture to support Java web applications. - Develop innovative practical designs that consider the end-to-end solution. - Implement best practices in Systems Architecture and map them to solutions. - Review architecture design at project initiation to ensure alignment with the overall Cloud or Virtual Platform Roadmap and Strategy. - Improve architecture by evaluating emerging technologies and their applicability to business goals and operational requirements. - Confirm architecture capability and flexibility to support high availability web applications through analytical models and validation tests. - Define infrastructure for the design and integration of internet/cloud computing systems by analyzing information requirements, determining platform architecture, technology, and tools, studying business operations and user-interface requirements, and directing the development of physical databases. - Have hands-on experience and the ability to co-develop & deploy Cloud or Virtual Server Platform Solutions. - Maintain control over the architecture throughout the software development lifecycle by continuously making critical adjustments to ensure desired results are achieved. - Be responsible for effort estimation of any Change Requests (CRs) or defects/solutions. - Handle application migration and production support. Qualifications Required - BE / B. Tech/MCA. - 4-6 years of experience working as a Technical/Solution Architect managing/designing web applications or products using Java 8 or above. - Ability to handle multiple teams and lead them technically. - Hands-on experience in developing web-based applications using Java, J2EE, Multi-threading, Servlets, JSP, JDBC, HTML5, CSS3, XML, jQuery, AJAX, SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle. - Experience in developing applications using Spring Boot, Spring, Hibernate, Apache Tomcat. - Experience in creating and maintaining database architecture for web applications. - Installation and maintenance experience with Application Servers like Apache Tomcat. - Performance tuning experience of applications. - Knowledge of build Tools like Maven, Gradle, Ant. - Knowledge in Configuration and Version Management tools like Git, SVN, etc. - Relevant product knowledge including awareness of cross-browser/device, "responsive" development standards, compliant HTML5, CSS, or reporting tools. - Experience in API and service-based architectures using SOAP, REST APIs, micro-services, and utilizing JSON for web or mobile applications. - Design experience with AWS/Azure/GCP infrastructure for new applications.
