Java Solution Architect

Experience

A Java Solution Architect leads the design and implementation of scalable Java-based applications, focusing on architecture, microservices, cloud integration, and security, requiring strong technical expertise and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Architectural Design & Development:

  Lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable, high-performing Java applications using frameworks like Spring Boot and Hibernate.

• Microservices & Integration:

  Architect microservices solutions emphasizing scalability, reliability, and API integration (REST, message brokers). Implement service orchestration.

• Security & MFA:

  Design and integrate multi-factor authentication (MFA) solutions such as Okta, Auth0, or Duo Security to secure applications.

• Cloud & DevOps Practices:

  Work with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud; create and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab, Terraform, or Ansible. Automate deployments and monitor environments.

• Collaboration & Agile:

  Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including DevOps engineers, QA, and business stakeholders. Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

• Mentoring & Leadership:

  Guide and mentor development teams with architectural best practices and solution implementation.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Technical Expertise:

• Minimum 8–10 years of experience with Java and related technologies (Spring Boot, Hibernate).
• Strong background in system design and architecture with at least 6 years in architectural roles.
• Proven experience in microservices architecture and cloud-native development.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with modern authentication mechanisms and security protocols.
• Proficient with DevOps tools, infrastructure as code (IaC), and CI/CD pipelines.

• Soft Skills:

• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder management.
• Ability to work independently or in a team-oriented environment.

Educational and Experience Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
