Java Software Engineer

Job Responsibilities

· Design and build end-to-end applications using Spring Boot for backend development.

· Develop and deploy applications on AWS cloud, ensuring security, scalability, and high availability.

· Contribute to frontend and backend development, enabling full-stack ownership of deliverables.

· Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and implement technical solutions.

· Participate in CI/CD processes and ensure compliance with security best practices.

· Work in agile teams, contributing to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

Mandatory Skills:

· 4 to 8 years of professional and relevant experience in software industry.

· Strong hands-on experience in Java with OOPs principles, multithreading, and exception handling.

· Expertise in Spring Boot for building microservices and APIs.

· Knowledge of working with AWS cloud.

· Strong knowledge of AWS Outposts.

· Ability to work across frontend and backend components, ensuring seamless integration.

· Proficiency in database design, connectivity, and query optimization.

Preferred Skills:

· Experience with AWS - EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, etc.

· Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices.

· Knowledge of security compliance standards and implementation in cloud applications.

· Proficiency in JBoss Application Server for deploying and managing enterprise applications.

· Knowledge of Autosys or other scheduling tools for job automation.

· Experience in application monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.

· Practical knowledge of Linux system administration and scripting.
