Java Senior Developer

As a Java Senior Developer at our company, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Java applications that are crucial for mission-critical systems. Your expertise in Java programming will be utilized to deliver high-quality software solutions using the latest tech stack. Here are the key responsibilities associated with this role: - Design, implement, and maintain Java applications that are often high-volume and low-latency, required for mission-critical systems. - Architect and design scalable, reliable, and secure systems. - Design and implement Azure-based solutions, including compute, storage, networking, and security. - Collaborate with development teams to ensure that solutions are aligned with the best practices and standards. - Conduct architectural reviews and provide guidance on performance, scalability, and security. - Analyze requirements and design a top-level solution. - Lead all the tiers of web development, from front-facing web technologies to building large scalable applications. - Take ownership of the technical priorities and effectively collaborate with cross teams. - Capable of working on multiple priorities. - Develop technical designs for application development. - Write well-designed, efficient, and testable code. - Ensure that the application design adheres to the specifications given. - Provide production support and deployment support. Required Skills: - Strong proficiency in Core Java, design patterns, concurrency, data structure, and algorithms. - Experience with Spring MVC and Spring Boot. - Expertise in SDD, API design, and contracts using typespec. - Experience in designing and developing microservices. - Experience with JBOSS. - Proficiency in IBATIS and JPA or Hibernate. - Familiarity with MongoDB and Oracle databases. - Experience with Azure Cloud services and knowledge in networking, security, and identity management in Azure Cloud. - Proficiency with React, JSPs, JavaScript, and Microfrontends. - Experience with Maven. - Proficiency with Jenkins, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines. - Experience with Bitbucket. - Hands-on experience with SDLC and Agile (SCRUM) methodology. - Experience with JIRA, Confluence, and Bitbucket. Preferred Experience: - Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. - 5 to 10 years of experience in Java development. - Certifications in Java or related technologies.
