Job Description Java QA Engineer
A Java QA Engineer is responsible for designing and executing automated/manual tests for applications built with Java. They ensure product quality by developing Java-based test scripts, identifying bugs, and verifying fixes.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop automation test scripts using Java with tools like Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber.
Perform functional, regression, integration, and API testing.
Develop and maintain test frameworks (hybrid, data-driven, BDD).
Write SQL queries to validate data in backend databases.
Use CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions) to run automated test suites.
Track defects using JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar tools.
Work closely with developers to reproduce and debug issues.
Ensure testing follows Agile/Scrum methodology.
