Job Description

As a Java Development Lead at our company, you will be responsible for overseeing the development of Java-based software projects from inception to completion. Your role will involve collaborating with business stakeholders to gather and analyze project requirements, create project plans, monitor progress, manage risks, communicate with stakeholders, and ensure timely and quality project delivery. Additionally, you will provide technical guidance and mentorship to the development team, ensuring the adoption of the latest Java technologies, best practices, and design patterns. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and manage Java-based software projects, ensuring adherence to project plans, schedules, and quality standards. - Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the development team on Java technologies and best practices. - Stay updated on the latest Java trends by attending conferences, reading blogs, and taking online courses. - Contribute to the company's Java strategy by identifying new opportunities and recommending improvements to the Java infrastructure. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - Minimum of 8 years of relevant IT experience, with at least 3 years of project management experience. - Strong understanding of Java programming concepts and technologies. - Proficiency in Agile or Scrum project management methodologies. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. - Capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Preferred Skills: - Experience with cloud computing platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. - Familiarity with Agile or Scrum software development methodologies. - Understanding of software version control systems such as Git or Subversion. - Certification in Java or related technologies.
