Java Lead

As an experienced Java Developer with expertise in Java, Docker, and Kubernetes, your role involves designing and developing message-based integrations using WebSphere MQ and Service Bus. You will be responsible for deploying and managing applications in Docker containers and orchestrating them with Kubernetes. Additionally, optimizing database performance, writing complex SQL queries for Oracle Database, utilizing Git and Maven for version control and build management, and working within an Agile environment using Jira for task management are key responsibilities. You will also provide application support, including handling Swing-based UI if needed, and integrate and manage workflows through ServiceNow. Optionally, you may work with Greenplum, Airflow, DashApps, and Python for advanced data processing. Key Responsibilities: - Designing and developing message-based integrations using WebSphere MQ and Service Bus. - Deploying and managing applications in Docker containers and orchestrating them with Kubernetes. - Optimizing database performance and writing complex SQL queries for Oracle Database. - Utilizing Git and Maven for version control and build management. - Working within an Agile environment, managing tasks using Jira. - Providing application support, including handling Swing-based UI if needed. - Integrating and managing workflows through ServiceNow. - Optionally working with Greenplum, Airflow, DashApps, and Python for advanced data processing. Qualification Required: - Java 8+ with proficiency in Spring Boot, REST APIs, and Microservices. - Familiarity with WebSphere MQ and Service Bus for messaging and integration solutions. - Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration. - Strong knowledge of Oracle Database including SQL and query optimization. - Proficiency in using Git and Maven for version control and build automation. It would be beneficial to have knowledge in: - Jira for Agile project tracking. - ServiceNow for ITSM support tasks. - Swing for UI development. - Basics of Python.
