Java full stack developer

As a Java Full Stack Developer at GlobalFoundries, your role involves supporting Digital Manufacturing by creating, supporting, and maintaining internal services and Java applications used by fab teams. You will design, develop, test, debug, and implement applications using SpringBoot and Angular. The applications are containerized using Docker, orchestrated through AWS ECS, and deployed on AWS EC2 instances for efficient cloud operations. Additionally, you will collaborate with Lead Data Scientists and business customers to translate needs into analytics solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, test, debug, and implement applications supporting critical manufacturing fab operations and engineering tasks - Collaborate with Lead Data Scientists and business customers to develop predictive and prescriptive analytics solutions - Work closely with GFIT, Manufacturing Data Domain group to build data pipelines Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent with minimum 2 years of relevant experience, or master's degree with minimum 1 year of relevant experience - Strong Java programming and relational DB skills - Proficiency in essential languages such as Angular, Java/J2EE, REST, Spring Boot, and relational databases development tools - Experience with development environments like IntelliJIDEA - Profound understanding of relational databases - Experience with cloud services like AWS - Development experience with services, REST, JSON, and integration of front-end and back-end technologies GlobalFoundries is a leading full-service semiconductor foundry providing design, development, and fabrication services to technology companies worldwide.
