Java FrontEnd Developer

As a Java Front End Developer, you will be responsible for performing initial analysis of identified vulnerabilities such as XSS and outdated libraries, and defining technical remediation strategies. You will lead the onboarding process for applications, which includes setup, documentation, and local environment configuration. Providing hands-on support to developers in troubleshooting complex technical issues and code-level problems will be a key aspect of your role. Ensuring that code changes adhere to secure coding standards and organizational best practices is essential. You will oversee code updates in legacy applications built with JSP and traditional Java frameworks, while also reviewing and approving pull requests to ensure consistent implementation of fixes and upgrades. Your expertise will be crucial in facilitating smooth upgrades of outdated third-party dependencies like commons-fileupload and Spring Framework. As a technical leader, you will provide mentorship to a team of developers and coordinate with cross-functional teams including QA, DevOps, and application owners to ensure alignment and progress. Clear communication with stakeholders regarding progress, blockers, and technical decisions will be a fundamental part of your responsibilities.
