Java Engineer

Role Overview: You will be an experienced Java developer responsible for fixing production bugs and remediating security vulnerabilities. This role involves hands-on coding within an L3 support context, focusing on enhancing application stability and security by implementing fixes and enhancements across Java and Spring Boot applications. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and deploy secure code fixes for known vulnerabilities in Java-based applications. - Analyze and resolve production bugs, performance bottlenecks, and edge-case failures. - Refactor legacy code to align with modern security and design standards. - Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and security teams to validate fixes and ensure smooth releases. - Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives. - Maintain high code quality and documentation for all fixes and enhancements. - Provide technical guidance and support for escalated L3 issues. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. - 6+ years of experience in Java development, with exposure to production support or vulnerability remediation. - Strong debugging and problem-solving skills with a developer mindset.
