Job Description

About Position:

We are looking for a skilled Java Developer to join our backend engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in building scalable and secure backend systems using Java and Spring Boot. You will be responsible for designing and implementing microservices, optimizing performance, and collaborating across teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

What You'll Do:

Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java (Spring Boot).
Build RESTful APIs and integrate with frontend and other backend services.
Optimize build configurations using Gradle.
Containerize applications using Docker.
Collaborate with DevOps to deploy applications and manage CI/CD pipelines.
Work with PostgreSQL for data storage and query optimization.
Monitor services and troubleshoot production issues using logs and metrics.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, frontend, and product teams.

Expertise You'll Bring:

5 to 10 years of hands-on experience in backend development using Java 11+ and Spring Boot.
Proficient in Java multithreading, concurrency, and design patterns.
Experience with Spring Security and role-based access control.
Strong knowledge of Gradle and Docker.
Solid experience with PostgreSQL including schema design and performance tuning.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
Understanding of distributed systems and RESTful API design.
Good to have: Experience with gRPC for service-to-service communication.
Good to have: Exposure to Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Kubernetes (GKE).
Strong debugging and monitoring skills using observability tools.
Commitment to writing well-tested, efficient, and reusable code.
